Steps For Operating In The Supernatural

There is a price to pay to be mightily used of God.

1. Have a consistent prayer life.

A. Matt. 14:23-36; Mark 1:35-42; Luke 5:15-25; 6:12-19; 9:28-31.

B. Jesus is our prime example for moving in the power of God.

2. Fast more often.

A. Matt. 17:14-21; Acts 13:2-3.

B. Fasting will overcome the flesh and help you to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

3. Spend more time in the Word and less time doing other things

A. Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3.

B. Some say they have no time to read the Bible. I suggest you turn off the television set and make time.

4. Study the lives of men who have been used of God in this area.

A. Study the lives of such men in the Bible.

C. Also study biographies of great men in church history such as Smith Wigglesworth, George Mueller, John G. Lake, and others.

5. Have faith that God will use lil' ol you.

A. John 14:12; Heb. 11:32-35.

B. Throughout history God has used insignifican nobodies and made them powerhouses for Him.

6. Dare to step out and do it.

A. Acts 3:1-10; Acts 8:5-8.

B. You can sit around believing all day long but faith proves itself by actions.

7. Spend more time in praise and worship.

A. Acts 16:25-26; 2 Chron. 5:13-14; 20:21-22; Psalm 71:14-17; 145:2; Heb. 13:15; Acts 13:1-4.

B. Praise and worship will get God to manifest His power faster than anyone's begging and crying.
