degree turn from sin to God.
II. The Benefits.
Benefit # 1 - Forgiveness (Luke 17:3, 4; Acts 26:15-18; James 5:14-16).
Benefit # 2 - Not Perishing (Luke 13:3-5; John 3:14-16).
Benefit # 3 - Conversion and blotting out of sins (Acts 3:19; 2 Cor. 5:15-17; Isa. 43:25-26).
Benefit # 4 - Receiving the Gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).
Benefit # 5 - Joy in Heaven (Luke 15:7-10).
Benefit # 6 - Missing the wrath of God (Jonah 3:4-10; Rev. 2:16).
Benefit # 7 - Knowing
the Truth and Overcoming the Devil (1 Tim. 2:25-26; John 8:32). Deliverance.
III. How to Repent.
A. Believe God's Word (Mark 1:15).
B. Be sorry for your sins (2 Cor. 7:9-10; Proverbs 28:13).
C. Acknowledge Christ's atoning death for you (Luke 24:46-47).
D. Let your actions show
your repentance (Acts 26:20; John 3:19-21).
