What Glorifies God?

In spite of all the revelation God has given to the church over the many years, many people still have a misconception of what brings GLORY to God. We have discovered TEN things that the scripture says glorifies God:

Glorify = To make glorious by by bestowing honor, praise, or admiration.

1. Our DELIVERANCE glorifies God - Psalms 50:14-15; 86:12-13; Isa. 25:1-5.

2. Our PRAISE glorifies God - Psalms 50:23.

3. Our GOOD WORKS glorifies God - Matt. 5:16; 1 Pet. 2:12.

4. UNITY AMONGST THE SAINTS glorifies God - Rom. 15:5-6.

5. God's MERCY glorifies Him - Rom. 15:9-11.

6. SUFFERING AS A CHRISTIAN glorifies God - 1 Pet. 4:14-16.

7. HEALING of our bodies glorifies God - Luke 5:17-26; 18:35-43; John 9:1-7; Acts 3:1-10, 4:21-22; Matt. 15:29-31; John 11:3-6, 39-45.

8. The LOVE OF JESUS in dying for our sins glorifies God - Luke 23:33-47

9. A GODLY MINISTRY glorifies God - 1 Pet. 4:10-11; 2 Thess. 1:10-12; Gal. 1:21-24.

10. ANSWERED PRAYER glorifies God - John 14:13-14; Dan. 2:16-23.
